Chapbook #3
It's official as contracts have been signed. The third book in Delirium's hardcover chapbook series will be an original short story collection by Mark McLaughlin. The book, titled Pickman's Motel, can be best described as a more adult Shoggoth Cacciatore. This collection showcases McLaughlin's original sense of humor, Lovecraftian-style.
Look for the book to go up for preorder in October. John Everson designed another knock-out cover for this chapbook (see left).
Book 1 (Failure by John Everson) and book 2 (Imprint by Patrick Lestewka) are still available. I have received nothing but rave reviews for the construction of these little books with wraparound laminated covers. There's nothing else out there quite like these, but they're getting closer to selling out.
In the future, Delirium will be creating a mini-slicpase to house 5-6 books in this series. I have a feeling these sets will be highly sought after by collectors in years to come.
Subscriptions are still being taken for the series, but will cease as the first title sells out. Subscriptions will make each book $15 and you also get a matched number for all future releases. As of right now, we can still begin subscriptions with book #1, but not for long.
These books are side-sewn and autographed by the author. Limited to only 500 copies each.
500 and dwindling.

Is Steve right? Is this another John Everson cover? He’s great at it as shown by the first 2 chaps. X-rated McLaughlin has got to blow one’s mind.

More great news!! I really dig this chapbook series. Very unique books and I’m glad Delirium is doing them. The covers really are amazing as well. \m/

Yes, Everson did the cover for this as well. Amazing job.

Thanks guys! Glad you dig this cover (and the others)! Believe me, Mark’s stories in this one offer more twisted inspiration than I could ever hope to capture.
And thanks to Shane for giving me free reign to just have some balls-out fun with these bookcovers!

I love the HC chapbooks series. They make stapled cardboard chaps look like…stapled cardboard.
These are a great deal at $20 ($15 if you sign up for them ALL!)

Can’t wait for this one. If it’s anything like the first two, it will be great. The construction is good and the wrap around covers and not having to deal with dust jackets is wonderful. I’ve been very impressed so far!
