Dead And Gone by Harry Shannon
ISBN 978-1-934546-01-7
Unemployed actor Jack Wade takes his comatose wife to an isolated spot in the mountains, a place where a man once murdered his entire family. Frankie was a successful movie producer, but now they have run out of money. This dilapidated cabin is all they have left.
As the long, lonely nights stretch out before him, Jack’s dreams overflow with nightmarish images. The isolation loosens his grip on reality. He believes Frankie is capable of leaving her bed and moving around. And as Jack falls apart inside the cabin, someone or something else begins stalking the woods outside…
Is the mountain evil, the cabin haunted? Or is poor Jack just going insane? Harry Shannon’s disturbing novel is a relentless, non-stop exercise in terror.
Now a motion picture, available in stores everywhere from LionsgateDVD.com.

Manhattan Grimoire by Sandy DeLuca
ISBN Pending
A crippling blizzard…grisly discoveries in an old church in Harlem…a small apartment building cut off by the mounting storm, its tenants trapped with a vicious killer that may or may not be human…and an unholy manuscript stolen from a dead sorcerer that could very well hold the secrets to opening the gates of Hell…
MANHATTAN GRIMOIRE, the terrifying new novel by Sandy DeLuca.
Gina has seen strange visions since childhood. Her mother was considered insane for having the same affliction, and before her disappearance, Gina’s sister Allie was obsessed with black magic and “saw” things too. It eventually led her to a depraved conjurer known as Mojo DeCanne, a man who possessed a book of demonic spells Allie stole and hid in Gina’s apartment in the days before she vanished. Now, as Manhattan braces for the worst snowstorm in decades, and Gina’s visions become worse, blurring the lines between nightmare and reality, Mojo DeCanne has come looking for what is his. In order to solve the mystery of her sister’s disappearance and the meaning behind her own shattered life, Gina must first survive the night and somehow stop an unimaginable evil from fulfilling its horrific destiny. Darkness falls on Manhattan. The blizzard grows worse. And the lights go out…

Comment by Wayne on 13 October 2006:
Shane, How do we know if we purchased a numbered or pc copy?
Comment by Scott Berke on 13 October 2006:
One copy is now mine.
Comment by Dezm on 13 October 2006:
woohoo! Just snagged one. Thanks Shane!
Comment by SLIM on 13 October 2006:
Dezm, you got one. COOL.
Comment by Shane Ryan Staley on 13 October 2006:
All copies currently up on E-bay are numbered. I’ve decided not to sell the PCs, which there are only a few.
Comment by Scott Berke on 13 October 2006:
They are all gone.
Comment by H Casper on 13 October 2006:

H,
You notice anything different about this book as compared to past titles?
Comment by H Casper on 13 October 2006:
Of course - where the hell is the gold foil stamp? What’s this black crap!
This is one for my ‘History of Firsts’ list. Also no dj, but that’s not new, just not done for some time.

Thanks H and SLim. I’m very stoked I was one of the lucky ones to grap this since I missed out on it before. Can’t wait to check it out.

Comment by Chris Hansen on 14 October 2006:
Shane, what the hell is with media mail from IN? You live in some kinda friggin time displacement or maybe a black hole? I’ve been dying to read Newton’s novel forever and the P.O. seems to know it. Bastards.
Comment by Dezm on 14 October 2006:
You know it’s pretty cool to see that 12 different people each got a copy of this book instead of seeing a few people gathering up all the books. I dig the Delirium community.\m/
Comment by Shane Ryan Staley on 15 October 2006:
Chris: Media mail has been slow throughout the country lately. But, of course, around here, the mail arrives and goes out by horse-drawn buggy, so this might have something to do with it.
One reason I did the E-bay thing at cover price was to help out some Delirium collectors who were loyal and were regulars to the Insider. This might save them eventually having to pay a bunch later on via E-bay or elsewhere. Glad it seemed to work.
Comment by Shane Ryan Staley on 15 October 2006:
H: The black turned out well on the foil design, I thought. Plus that particular foil design begged not to be DJ’ed. I spent the extra money on the book material, much more so than what the cost of a DJ would have incurred.
Comment by H Casper on 15 October 2006:
“H: The black turned out well on the foil design”
I agree. The black stamp looks very nice on the red cover and the details turned out great. Halfway through reading it and I’m hooked. Making me wish I’d wished for a better back some years ago but then….(whoops no spoilers).

Comment by H Casper on 15 October 2006:
Oh my god! Shane you sly son of a bitch. This book is bound in LEATHER! I knew it the minute I felt and smelled it, but it’s not the same thick, soft hide you use on the Ultra and lettered/deluxe editions so I denied the truth until I started reading this book and realized it. You not only changed the gold cover stamp to black but it’s freaking leather. Way cool and a huge surprise. Once again the proof is in the production that Delirium Books RULES.

Comment by H Casper on 15 October 2006:
whoops (be kind to me folks) - it’s actually a high-quality imitation leather that’s better than anything DB does except that awesome soft real leather on the deluxe editions. It’s so nice, it fooled me for a while. Shane and DB are still the best in the business.
