DEMOGORGON
Charlie Trace, professional thief, is no stranger to deceit and violence. But nothing in his life on the knife-edge of London's Underworld could prepare him for the horror of Demogorgon.
It is centuries old: Satan is its lord and master. It walks the earth in the guise of a man, but it is not a man: it is the very essence of evil. Across many years and nations, Demogorgon has sown the seeds of hell…now, it is calling its children home. Demogorgon's power grows with every soul it devours—and if Charlie Trace can't stop it, he will be its next victim!

Cool I’ve been waiting for this in HC. Now it’s coming. I just don’t know if I should put it with my Lumley or Delirium collection.
Comment by admin on 20 November 2006:
You might just have to buy 2 copies, 1 for each collection!

Comment by SLIM on 20 November 2006:
Damn it Shane, you twisted my arm, you held a gun to my head. Actually, not a bad Idea.
Comment by SLIM on 20 November 2006:
I ment buying another copy is a good idea, not a gun to my head. That would be my wife talking again.

I asked for this one over a year ago and here it is. What fun. Demogorgon is on eof my all time favorite Lumley novels. SO cool to see a quality limited edition.

Big Lumley fan here, the Necroscope series have been the only books so far that I’ve given valuable reading time too to do twice. I’ve never read Demogorgon yet so this is gonna be guud.
Comment by Keith Thomas on 20 November 2006:
Probable a daft question but how r the slipcased sold out before you put them up for sale?
Comment by macker on 20 November 2006:
not a daft question at all, their is a reservation list, which alot of people are on, waiting for previous buyers of delirium lettered editions to go bankrupt and fall out of the equation.
in laymons terms, previous buyers get first dibs.
check bloodletting and shocklines for any spares though.
seeing as H asked for this last year and got his wish, how about doing me a necroscope and vampire world series, with my own story written into each of the lettered versions of each title. oh, and it falls under my life sub.
what? what?? nothing wrong with that?
Comment by admin on 20 November 2006:
Yeah, actually there’s such a big demand for the lettered editions that customers have kept their letters from title to title. I’ve only had 1 or 2 customers actually drop their letters all year.
Currently there are 6 customers waiting on the reserve list to get a shot at a letter, all of whom wish to keep their letters from title to title.

I’ve also received several e-mails about the double-slipcase. This is actually a great design where the bindery creates two slipcases, one bigger than the other, the biggest which houses both the book and slipcase. Once finished, no part of the book (including the spine) will be exposed, so the soft leather will all be totally protected. Also, both slipcases are foil stamped and interlaced.
To date, Delirium has only produced one title double-slipcases and that was IN DELIRIUM.
Comment by Andrew on 21 November 2006:
Cmon people, stop buying those lettereds! Let others have a shot!
Please???
Comment by macker on 21 November 2006:
andrew.
sorry mate, once your on that ladder you have to cling on for dear life. even though their are people tugging on your trouser leg ie: bank managers, credit card companys, bailiffs, irrate girlfriends…to name but a few. actually, only kidding…about the bailiffs
Comment by macker on 21 November 2006:
forgot to mention, i prefer this background and the new look.. nice one
Comment by SLIM on 21 November 2006:
Sorry Andrew, but I’m one on the waiting list myself, And if my name came up you’d have to pry that from my dead hands. And if I could just get a couple of addresses my name would come up that much faster!!! Wait, thats the devil’s talk. Or is it Demogorgon’s Talk. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.
Comment by H Casper on 21 November 2006:
I like the new look too except - I miss the sidebar where it shows the last few comments. It’s hard to see what one has missed since the last visit without it.

H,
I hear ya, man. I’ve added a list of sorts to the left column. Not like the other format, but close.
Comment by Andrew on 21 November 2006:
I agree. The new look is pretty cool - especially the logo at the top.
Comment by H Casper on 21 November 2006:
Thanks Shane. Much better.

Comment by H Casper on 21 November 2006:
Shane - wasn’t Thirteen Specimens lettered edition the FIRST to have a double slipcase? I believe In Delirium arrived later.

Comment by admin on 21 November 2006:
H,
THIRTEEN SPECIMENS was just slipcased, I believe. The only one I’ve ever designed as a double-slipcased was IN DELIRIUM.
Of course, I’ve been wrong before and you usually have more knowledge about Delirium than I even do, so…

Comment by Dezm on 21 November 2006:
The new look is cool. Matches the main Delirium website bettah. Looking forward to this book. And that demon on the cover looks a bit like Steve Shrewsbury with horns
Comment by H Casper on 21 November 2006:
My bad Shane - Slime was not double slipcased so IN DELIRIUM is the One.
