A Brief Glance Into Dominion
For fans of Greg F. Gifune, you’re in for another treat. I finished my initial review of his latest novel, Dominion, and it’s fantastic. A perfect combination of psychological thriller and supernatural horror, this book ranks right up there with his best fiction. And, in my opinion and many others, ranking up there with Greg’s best work is basically stating that it ranks up there among the best work in the genre. To say it’s a page-turner is a huge understatement. There is an amazingly dark atmosphere that runs throughout this novel that will surely keep readers enthralled. For me, it was hard to put this book down and still, a week after I first read it, I find myself thinking about the book and the events that took place within. In fact, it is such a powerful read that I have no doubt that this book will stay with me for quite some time, if not forever. It’s that good.
Trust me: you don’t want to miss this one. It’ll be up for preorder later this month. If you want to be notified before it’s officially announced, then please check out Greg’s author page on the Insider and sign up for the notification list there:

Here’s the official details:
When Daniel Cicero’s wife Lindsay is killed by a hit-and-run-driver, a large part of his own soul dies along with her. His happiness is shattered, his life destroyed. Unable to cope, he soon loses his job and eventually his sense of purpose, and as he descends into the throes of depression and sorrow, he spends his nights aimlessly wandering the streets of Boston and his days in a fog, living by rote, unable to move forward or to let go of the past.
And then the anonymous phone calls begin. A man claiming Lindsay is still alive taunts and threatens him with facts he could not possibly know. When strange and frightening visions begin to appear on his computer, a firestorm of horrifying nightmares and painful memories are unleashed that haunt Daniel at every turn, and with everything he knew of good and evil, life, death, love and loss in question, he slowly descends into a terrifying world of malevolence and madness where technology and age-old evils have merged, and where the walls separating the living from the dead may no longer exist.
In life…in death…and in the realms between the two…there is DOMINION.

Greg is one of my top 5 authors. The Bleeding Season and A View from the Lake blew me away. And he’s from Massachusetts to boot. Now why he hasn’t made it down to Necon is a question that must be asked. Regardless, now I need to get started on Deep Night since there’s another Gifune on the horizon to look forward to.
