Delirium Book Club
Delirium will be launching an aggressive new campaign to promote its trade paperback line. While the trade paperbacks will be available and sold through the major chain stores, Delirium will now be offering them direct through its new paperback book club.
Beginning this fall, the paperback book club will feature its first release, The Bleeding Season by Greg F. Gifune. Thereafter, Delirium plans to release a paperback per month through 2008. Plans are to hopefully continue the trade paperback line and book club past 2008, but this decision will be based on sales.

Comment by Scott Berke on 17 May 2007:
This is great! I know a few people that would love to read Delirium titles, but have been put off by the price of a limited edition.
Comment by kresby on 17 May 2007:
very cool. Long live DB.
Comment by dezm on 17 May 2007:
Awesome news!!!! This is a great idea.
Comment by Tod Clark on 17 May 2007:
My first reaction was, ‘Yeah but how many trade pb’s will I have to purchase that I already own the hardcover edition of?’
I checked the upcoming titles and two out of three books I do not own yet so I went ahead and joined.
This is certainly a really good idea, only time will tell if it is the right thing for me since I tend to buy the hardcover edition of most of the books I am really excited about.

I’m in. Now all I need is a club that creates more time to read.
Comment by macker on 17 May 2007:
its great that some of the back issues are going to get the treatment. wonder how far back into the dusty shelves of delirium shane will reach though?
as paperbacks go they are bloody great to be honest, aren’t they?
Comment by Justin Case on 17 May 2007:
Looks cool… but will there be any ‘exclusive” tpb titles that have not already been printed as limited h/c’s ??
Comment by Shane Staley on 17 May 2007:
Justin: As Delirium’s trade paperback line starts to increase, you’ll be seeing exclusive titles released through the book club, although there might very well be an X-series HC release at the same time.
Comment by philg on 17 May 2007:
I’m in. Awesome idea Shane! For someone like me who can’t afford to buy every hardcover and also missed plenty of your earlier titles this is great. Hopefully we’ll see Scarecrow Gods as a future paperback (crosses fingers).

Since these books are also sold through major chain stores, I think it would be cool to have the subscriber copies signed. Just a thought.
