Horror Mall
I wanted to make this known before it goes live on Halloween.
I have officially started a new company called Horror Mall. It’s been in the works for quite awhile now. Horror Mall is a website dedicated to horror goods of all kinds, though one of its primary focuses will be on books. The site will be launched on Halloween and feature a state of the art user-friendly website for those interested in horror products.
What’s different about this site from other bookstores? Basically, it’s an online mall. There will be different sellers and stores providing different products, but all stores will be under a single checkout process, so customers will be able to shop in one place for all your horror needs.
Larry Roberts of Bloodletting Books will be joining the Horror Mall from the start as the primary bookseller/bookstore. Bloodletting Books’ stock of limited edition horror titles will now be sold through Horror Mall. Larry and I will be working together to stock the site with most major small press releases.
There will be more than 500 different titles in stock by the time the site goes live on Halloween. Larry at Bloodletting Books will provide the warehouse and shipping for all books purchased.
Larry and I have been working together on this for quite some time now, as we agreed early on that what the horror genre needed most was a central place to come together to buy books and other products. Delirium Books was branching out into the selling of other publishers and instead of competing with Bloodletting Books, Larry and I decided to unite and work together to build a mega-site dedicated to the best this genre has to offer. Horror Mall will focus on cross-promoting horror literature with movies and art, among other things.
Other features of the site will include a message board and blog which will be linked to a newsletter that will go out to everyone who wants to know when new products are added to the mall. The site will also feature a customer points system similar to Delirium’s where you earn points for each purchase which can be used as cash towards future orders. Also, as customer service has been a key to both Delirium’s and Bloodletting’s success, the new site will include a customer support system where customers can submit their questions via a ticket and track its progress online and through e-mail.

Delirium’s online store will remain fully functional, featuring only Delirium titles. Other publishers’ titles will be sold exclusively through Horror Mall. For those customers who wish to buy Delirium titles and other publishers’ titles together, Delirium will have a section in the Horror Mall and future books will be available there as well as on the Delirium website.

Great news. Shane and Larry opening a mall. Now, that’s a bit scary but welcome. If it were the 70’s or 80’s, I wonder what stores they would have. Let the shopping begin.

Delirium Books pre-orders will be available through Horror Mall. They will also be available through the regular catalog on Delirium’s site.

Definitely. You can count on the Insider being the central news source for Delirium Books.
