The Infected and The Condemned are now shipping through Horror Mall. You can order your copy of The Condemned trade paperback at the following link:
Hardcovers of both titles are sold out. If you have reserved a copy of either of these titles, you should have received an e-mail from Horror Mall with a link to order. If not, please e-mail me.
Since Delirium titles are now distributed directly through Horror Mall, orders placed previously directly through Delirium will need to be placed again through Horror Mall. Your numbers have been secured, but you’ll need to place them again and pay for your titles through Horror Mall.
Oogie Boogie Bounce & Central
Both of these new trade paperback titles are expected to be shipping tomorrow through Horror Mall. They will go on sale as soon as the first shipment of stock arrives.
Bounce is a first edition and can be read without having to read the first book Central, though we do highly recommend you read the first book, as some characters and plot developments occur over both books.
Plus, the covers of both books make up a single Alan M. Clark painting when put together.

Both books are only available as trade paperbacks ans retail for $16.95.

IN PRODUCTION
Delirium’s first audiobook is in production. Edward Lee’s hardcore classic The Bighead will be available as an MP3 download only, available through Horror Mall, in the coming months. It’s estimated to be more than 7 hours long and narrated by Mark Justice. This audiobook features an introduction by the author and it’s the author’s preferred text.
Part one has been turned in and Mark Justice has really done a great job with the narration.

Hmmm - now I wonder what the hell extra I ordered direct or ordered because my lifetime subs don’t cover it.

The audio book sounds great Shane. I’ve picked up audio books in the last couple of years because it’s a great way to get in another book or a reread on my commute to work. I’ll be buying in to any audio books you might consider. Btw, where’s the next hardcover chapbook update?

Kresby:
None of the titles shipping were available through Delirium direct except for Gleefully Macabre Tales.
Everything else will be announced and up for sale as it’s ready to ship.

I agree: I love audiobooks myself. I have more audiobooks on my iPod than actual songs almosts!
Comment by sjg on 7 February 2008:
Why are we getting the second Oogie Boogie book through the PB club? Doesn’t seem to make sense for the reader.
Comment by Shane Staley on 7 February 2008:
Would you rather have a reprint or a first edition? And since you don’t need to read the first book, then I figured most people would opt for the new book, especially since it’s been long overdue and requested for quite a while now.
Comment by dezm on 8 February 2008:
Thanks for the update. I gotta order my hc’s of Condemned and Infected tonight. Looking forward to these.
Very cool with the audio books too. I listen to at least two a month going to and from work. I think audiobooks are underated. If done right they can be better than actually reading them. I vote for an original Keene audio. Has anyone ever done an audiobook that wasn’t actually printed? I’m ramblin.
Great job again, Shane-O. You rule. More than my fucking Patriots now anyways.
Comment by Shane Staley on 8 February 2008:
Thanks Dezm! Yeah, audiobooks are now starting to take some serious market share, the rise in popularity due to technology as now almost every household has an MP3 player.
Comment by Jack Staynes on 9 February 2008:
AHAHAHAHA Audiohead. This is awesome news. Now I could be wrong but I’m sure I had mentioned something before about how cool it would be to have Mark Justice read Bighead. And now here he is, you see that? I know a couple of things that turn out to be cool ideas, I think folk should start listening to me more around here. Only thing is, I’d have loved to have a signed CD or something because other than my PC I’m one of the only people in the world that doesn’t have an MP3 player. But I guess for 7 hours of Audiohead I’ll just have to get myself one.
